What a weekend!

Friday night Trevor took me to The Roof to celebrate my 22nd birthday. Yes, I am a very lucky girl. :) That place is incredible. There was a picture perfect sunset that night that only added to the already jaw-dropping view. The food was great and the dessert was even better. We didn't walk out of the restaurant...we rolled out. We were so stuffed!Thank for such a great night and weekend Trev!
Now, I am going to need a round of applause because on Saturday I made HOMEMADE rolls and they were delicious!!! I am not the greatest cook. Whenever I try to make dinner something always seems to go wrong with the recipe and it never tastes as good as I remember. I was feeling rather ambitious on Saturday and decided to try and make these rolls for Trev's humanitarian trip reunion. I seriously am still in shock that they worked and they were so good! Yay for me! I have been inspired to start cooking more.

Got Blood?

Remember this picture? Our own little Dracula?

Well...it looks like Trev's hair will not be the only thing he and Dracula have in common.

Today Trevor was offered a job at a blood/plasma clinic. He is stoked. No more Discover Card and no more searching for a job in the medical field.

What more could he ask for? One step closer to medical school.

Bow wow!

Such a random bog but...I am just thinking about how much I want a puppy!

How can you resist anything as cute as these puppies?
Trev has always wanted a pug..yuck...but we have decided that when we can get a dog we are going to get a beagle!

They are energetic, get along great with people and other dogs, they don't shed a lot, and not to mention they are crazy adorable.

Heck, I have even picked out the name for our future puppy. Wait for it...Bruno! No, not after the flamboyant Australian from the recent movie, but the loyal dog from Cinderella (my favorite Disney movie).

I am still trying to sell Trevor on the name. I have plenty of time though...my dad has band dogs from the townhouse we are living in. Probably for the best. We have no yard and an energetic puppy like Bruno will need plenty of room to play.
